Obsession Du Jour-Jo Malone Cologne

Recently, I have been obsessing over Jo Malone Colognes. The scents are intriguing, inventive and dazzlingly individual. Worn alone they are incredible but when layered with other Malone scents you can create compelling aromatic magic! I love all 20 scents from her collection which are categorized by: citrus, fruity, light floral, floral, spicy, and woody. I can't even choose a favorite as they are all delish! Currently, I am wearing Lime Basil & Mandarin. My got to layering scent is currently Blue Agava & Cacao layered with Rose Water & Vanilla (limited edition and not sold in Edmonton).

I also have to mention that the body creme is amazing as well, and the scent stays on all day. I am currently using Pomegranate Noir body creme.

And not to forget the home candles are equally fabulous! Worth the money!

Jo Malone colognes are not only for women, they are unisex. (They smell amazing on men).

Nicki Minaj for O.P.I

Get your Seche Vite ready, Nicki Minaj has collaborated with O.P.I to create a limited edition collection that's as eccentric as the singers personality. The colours launch January 2012.

The six nail lacquers, are all named after some of Nicki's songs, such as my personal favorite 'Pink Friday'-creamy bubblegum pink
The other colours are:

'Super Bass'- a deep, shimmery purple shatter
'Metallic 4 Life' - charcoal sparkle
'Save Me'-silver rainbow glitter
'Fly'-electric aqua

Can't wait!

Will you be buying? What's your favorite colour?

Tried and Tested- Prestige My Blackest Lashes

I am, like most women, am always on the search for the perfect mascara.
I have tried a lot of mascaras from drugstore to high-end ones (think Dior, Lancome, YSL, Bobbi Brown, Mac). So when I had read a blog review on Prestige's Blackest Lashes Mascara, I was eager to give it a try.  I must admit I was a hesitant to buy this product for two reasons:
  1.   I don't usually reach for Prestige products as I never really hear anything about their products.
  2.  Usually if I am buying a drugstore mascara I opt for  CoverGirl Lash Blast or L'Oreal Voluminous.
However, I was ready for a change as I had become disappointed with Lash Blast.

This is a great Mascara for the price ($8.99). First of all, it has a strong black pigmentation which helps define your lashes and adds some everyday drama. The brush is a manageable size to get among the lashes, with enough space between the bristles to create some definition and leave minimal clumps. This mascara does a great job at separating the lashes. It leaves great volume, and never has an overabundance of product on the brush when it comes out of the tube. The formula is perfect, it doesn't flake or smudge

A tip for applying: Massage it close to the lashline

This is a must try mascara!

M.I.A

Wow, sorry I have been such a bad blogger! This past weekend was my twenty something birthday. To benefit my blogging career, I got an iPad! As well as a pair of my favorite jeans (citizens of humanity - avedons) they are the perfect jean! I'm on my third pair.

In recent purchases, I stumbled into Who Cares and found the cutest pair of Stuart Weitzman pumps. That coincidently paired perfectly with a topshop dress I had purchased this summer in London!

I also have been trying two new mascaras one from Prestige and the other is Mac (I usually hate Mac mascaras but this particular one, is pretty decent! I will post a review on them later!

xoxo
