I've been Shellac'd

Again, while I was in San Francisco we went for mani's. I love getting manicures, and I am notorious for changing my polish at least three times a week. I was sick of my nails always chipping and always having to repaint my nails. So, I decided to try the OPI Axxium Gel Nail Lacquer. What excited me, was that they had my favourite colour- Lincoln Park After Dark. The colour is set using UV lights, the polish is thin, doesn't ruin your natural nail, and the colour doesn't stain your nail bed. I am so happy with the results. Now, I am on the prowl to find a nail place in Edmonton that uses the OPI Gel Lacquer. I'll keep you updated!

Hourglass-Veil Mineral Primer

I picked this product up while I was in San Francisco. I was complaining about how my makeup seems to fade away by the end of the day. An employee approached me and started raving about Veil Mineral Primer, noting that it is Hourglass's best seller. So I bought the travel size version. Usually I don't use primers as I find I am prone to breakouts, but this product is different. It has a satin-finish formula that applies to skin so smoothly. It helps keep makeup looking fresh and prevents fading. Veil Mineral Primer also absorbs excess oils and minimizes the appearance of pores.

Worth a try! 

Make It Tonight

Olive Garden Salad And Dressing

I make this salad at least twice a week! It's AMAZING

For the salad:
1 can olives, whole
2 roma tomatoes
2-4 banana peppers
1/2 cup asiago cheese
1 head lettuce
1 red onion
1 box croutons

For the dressing:

1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/3 cup white vinegar
1 Tbs vegetable oil
2 Tbs corn syrup
2 Tbs parmesan cheese
2 Tbs romano cheese
1/4 tsp garlic salt
1/2 tsp italian seasoning 
1/2 tsp parsley flakes
1 Tbs fresh lemon juice
**To make it sweeter, you can also add a bit of sugar.

Place all in a blender and mix

Mac

Lately, I have been very disappointed in my Bobbi Brown Concealer. I'm over it and ready to try something new. While in California I decided to try Mac Pro Longwear Concealer, so far I am loving it.
I apply it gently with my ring finger and blend it out using a Mac 224 brush. I strongly suggest you purchase this brush for blending out your concealer.

The best part, the Mac concealer is cheaper than the Bobbi one.
